Humanity to the power of you

Personal development courses designed to advance human growth

Humanava is the platform for personal development courses paving the way for a promising future. We aim to fast-track human potential and unite like-minded humans from around the world.

about us intro 1

“We believe collective change is born out of individual growth. So we’ve built the space where that growth can take place.”

about us intro 2

Access your hidden human intelligence and live to your fullest potential: whether that’s stepping into leadership, building a diverse workplace, or bringing mindfulness to your daily routine.

our history

The foundations of a conscious community

Before Humanava, there was Stand Up For Passion, a storytelling series founded in New York City in 2014. The concept? Seven inspiring and diverse speakers, each with seven minutes to share their story of transformation. These stories — so real, so personal — inspired honesty and genuine connection. At the end of every event, instead of rushing out into the night, people stayed. They had meaningful conversations. They left with the glow of found community and shared experience. They felt part of something special, something magic.

And the magic didn’t stop there.

Those events sparked change. Participants left unhappy marriages or transformed their careers. Speakers found the confidence to step into leadership or write books.

Meaningful conversations that spark change

Stand Up For Passion became a conscious community across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The format broadened. We offered team-building workshops and collaboration with leaders from well-known organizations. Each event still based on the belief that all humans desire and deserve authenticity and positive change.

Then, Covid hit.

Events around the world got canceled, spaces fell silent. In this global pause, Humanava was born. We want to share the energy and passion from our events and workshops with a worldwide online community. Our aim is still the same: to create an authentic space for meaningful learning and powerful conversations that spark change.

In light of the events of 2020 and 2021, this has never been more important.

Now, it’s over to you.

Meet the founders

Janet Nakano

Janet Nakano

Co-Founder and COO

Born and raised in Los Angeles to parents of Japanese immigrants, Janet grew up with a multi-cultural mindset from the beginning. Her early passion for culture sent her to 30+ countries far and wide evolving into a career as a documentary filmmaker, video producer and photographer. A significant part of her career was with IBM in New York City working as a senior video producer and director for nearly 10 years. Her other passion is deeply rooted in a yoga and meditation practice that started 20 years ago. This has led her to delve deep into understanding her own self and the human condition - all of which is the inspiration behind Humanava.

Arnaud Collery

Arnaud Collery

Co-Founder and CEO

From a very young age, Arnaud Collery lead the life of a globe-trotter, staying for long periods of time in Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles and New York, and working in areas as diverse as finance, luxury, tech, cinema and stand-up comedy. In 2014, he successfully launched Stand Up for Passion, organising events on personal transformation, and has since presided as “Chief Happiness Officer” at renowned firms and organisations. In 2020, after spending 15 years in the United States, he moved to Bordeaux, where he and his partner launch Humanava, drawing on his many years of experience in personal development and his worldwide network of experts, to develop inspiring masterclasses.
